Job Title: Outside Client Relationship Sales Representative
Reports to: President & CEO Department.
JOB SUMMARY:
Builds and secures important business relationships with professional
in the healthcare industry. Maintains existing relationships to grow
the business received from existing clients and performs any duties
assigned by the President.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Establishes
new business relationships by means of cold calling, networking and
building vital connections with decision makers in the healthcare
field.
- Secures orders from existing and potential customers by means of visiting the customer facility or contacting by phone.
- Secures opportunities to quote on customer requirements.
- Follows up (by phone or visit) on quotations submitted to customers.
- Establishes
professional customer/vendor relationships with appropriate customer
personnel (purchasing, engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance,
management, other key personnel).
- Submits
weekly activity/call reports concerning customer-related activities for
quotes, orders, and problems concerning customer/vendor relationships.
- Performs all assigned duties in the assigned sales territory.
- Provides lost business reports on a weekly basis.
- Provides a territory sales forecast on a monthly basis.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs any directly related appropriate duties assigned by the President.
- Performs assigned duties with minimum personal supervision from the President.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- BA or two years' experience in healthcare industry.
- Outside sales experience.
- Excellent
communication skills, self-motivated, self-starter, sense of urgency,
personable, extroverted personality, well organized.
- Willingness to travel.
- Ability to drive personal automobile.
